Non-emergency minor crimes can now be reported on-line at www.online.police.ukIt takes only a few minutes to enter your own details, the victim's details, and details of the crime and you will be contacted by telephone a day or two later and given a crime number.

REPORTING ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR - 01304 872 220

The Anti-Social Behaviour Hot-line at Dover District Council Community Safety Unit is a one-stop shop for reporting all types of anti-social behaviour, Monday to Friday during office hours, such as:  damage/vandalism, threatening behaviour, harassment, abandoned cars, neighbour problems, noise, dog fouling and fly tipping.

Reports can be made in confidence, to protect your identity (just let them know when you contact them).   The phone line is open during office hours, with an answering machine out of hours.  Ensure that you have as much information to hand as possible, such as

  • Date, time and location of incident
  • A description of those involved and what they did

The definition of anti-social behaviour under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 is that it is 'behaviour likely to cause alarm, harassment or distress to members of the public not of the same household as the perpetrator'.
